Ikurangi Eco Retreat, located in Matavera, Rarotonga, is the Cook Islands' first purpose-built eco accommodation and glamping hotel. The retreat offers an intimate boutique experience with a total of four Luxury Safari Tents and three Tropical Are. Visitors can expect super-king beds, fully screened windows, eco-luxe toiletries, and waffle robes in their accommodations. The Luxury Safari Tents boast ensuite bathrooms with modern composting toilets and private open-air hot water showers, while the Tropical Are feature private decks overlooking the mountains of Takitumu and a traditional pawpaw plantation.
In addition to luxurious accommodations, Ikurangi Eco Retreat provides complimentary daily tropical breakfast featuring organic fruits, free bicycle hire to explore the island, and an onsite reception and tour desk open 7 days a week.
